My sister recently purchased a condo and we installed laminate flooring. Thought we sould share some pictures.
So when Johnsons Carpet was opened by Scott Johnson (father and dad). The idea of having a son to take over and one day run the business was...umm...well, altered when he had 5 girls. As a small town buisness owner the Johnson family tries to give you the best deals that we can on Carpeting, Vinyl, Laminate, Tile, Stone, Blinds, Shutters, Cabinets, and Counter tops. We have tried to make it a one stop shop for what you may need to change the look of your home.

Leveling a floor...
Never seen this done, although the installers do it all the time. They have this down to an ART. We are installing engineered wood into the addition room in the flippy house and under the carpet was a floor that looked like....
We couldn't have this... So (the blue that you see was the primer that we used to prep the floor to be leveled) the slabs of concrete have to be even for the wood floor to be installed. You can see by looking at that we had a problem. I was a bit nervous thinking that this was going to be a battle. We used some self leveling webcrete. With all of us together we knocked this out really quick!
We only needed a few bags as you can see ( sarcasm) we all worked together and got the floor beautiful and level.
Beautiful, level and not dry floor... But the wood floor is almost ready to be installed! 24 hours to dry. Looks like a brand new floor! I was pretty excited.
