Runner for Stairs

Wood stairs can be a little bit slippery so a family friend called us up looking for a elegant runner to put down their stairs to add to the design of their home.  This is what we found.  It is nylon to hold up to the stair traffic.

More Progress...!

So... a long wile ago we posted some pictures of a house that we were 'flipping'  so now that I have some more pictures to share, I thought I would share our slow progress.
This is the progress that we are having on the cabinets, as you can see the beautiful cardboard flooring is custom to fit ( to protect the beautiful hardwood floors that were installed) Sorry for the mess I could'nt wait to take the picts till they were finished...

This room is coming along so well! We are going to continue the hardwood flooring into this level to create a beautiful dining room! If you look at the old pictures you will see that the Brown and cream paint made this level look so small and dark. The white on white opens up the room and makes it looks so BRIGHT! Love it!

BAD picture and messy but that is why it is a work in progress... This is the progress of the same room with the new paint ( we repainted the whole house... this just shows crazy change.)

Another shot of the cabinets with the guys working! (the light blue guy in the shirt... that's my DAD working hard.)

This is the front room that was Burgundy, I thought it looked good ( I like dark colors) but after the new paint... The white looks so good! Wood floor in this room also!

( that is a sneak peak of the tile that we are putting in the house! Same stuff that I have in my bathroom!)
This room was the 'ZOO' room... I have nothing more to say except, much better!

I dont know what the previous owners were thinking but the plug in lights weren't my favorite... Can lights is where is is at. New ceiling coming soon... Did I mention that there are new windows in the WHOLE house! Im jealous they are so nice!

More of the new cabinets... I couldn't get enough of them!  Also can lights in the kitchen!

Pantry and desk!

Knotty Alder Cabinets... I wont ruin the surprise of the counter top, so when they get installed I will be sure to post more pictures of that as well!

The laundry room is going to be a surprise as well! It used to be in the downstairs room ( the one with the new window sitting in it) shoved up against the wall... Creeped me out just looking at it so we moved it upstairs.  The plumbing just got finished and it looks so great! I will post picts of the progress!
